Privacy and Data Handling.

Alfie’s Studio have always taken the stance of treating others as we’d like to be treated ourselves so we have always treated personal information and data in the strictest confidence and never ever misused it. We do like to be transparent, so we’d like to let you know what information we obtain and what we do with it. If you have any questions, comments or would like us to check if we have any information on you, to update that information or delete it, please contact our Data Protection Officer at any time via the contact form.

  • We use MailChimp for our newsletter - https://mailchimp.com/.

There are two ways in which you can sign up to our newsletter – via our website at http://www.alfies-studio.com/ or via our analogue paper sign-up sheet at markets and events. An email is sent to the email address supplied for confirmation. If you would like to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, there is a link at the bottom of the email or you can contact us at any time and we’ll remove you.

If you sign up directly we do not personally hold a record of your email address, it is held by MailChimp. If you sign up on the paper version the page is held until it is full and then it is destroyed (via our secure log-burner method). There is no set time for this as it depends on how long it takes to fill up the page.

MailChimp also have a number of policies and information in regards to data held on their servers. See their About the General Data Protection Regulation page here.
