The Jackson.

Lurking in the sixth form art studio at every available moment I found myself falling deeply obsessed with the work of Jackson Pollock. Something about it felt so deliciously rebellious and emotive. I quickly took to paint splatting any available surface including my relative brick of a mobile phone.

This love has now become the basis of one of my favourite collections to produce. In the winter the kitchen is taken over by glorious fluorescent markings on the table and floor - misfires and bad aims at the paper, in the summer my glasshouse studio becomes a messy haven of colour. The biggest joy is having a more emotive and hands on part in helping you share your life’s adventures.

Personality:

Measured, utilitarian, industrial. Conversely vibrant and emotional, passionate and attention seeking.

Colours:

All of them! Anything goes.

Geographic origin:

A city loft space in some up and coming district where space is plentiful and the characters around colourful.

Utilitarian and industrial type meets passion and expression in our hand painted Jackson cards. A soft greyboard provides a juxtaposing background for riotous colour.

Our simple house white versions provide a minimalistic card in their own right or the perfect backdrop for you to get creative. Coffee especially makes a wonderful deep and rich array of colours if you don’t have paints to hand and we urge you to get creative in all ways possible to embellish your own cards.
